SWP encourages everyone in Somerset to boost recycling, save money and waste less through a range of campaigns.
These include Love Food Hate Waste, Check Out Your Packaging, Recycle For All It’s Worth and Green Routine.
Recycling is good but preventing waste is even better. SWP’s Waste Prevention Strategy (1.2MB) sets out our campaigns specifically promoting waste avoidance, waste reduction and reuse over three years.
Coming early in the New Year, Green Routine 2013 will follow on from the successful 2011 campaign. There will be monthly themed activities to help everyone to save money and reduce their waste throughout the year.
