Household Waste Recycling Centres switch to winter opening hours
From 1st October Somerset’s Household Waste Recycling Centres will switch to winter opening hours, with the sites closing at 5pm. They will continue to open at 9am.
Somerset’s 18 Household Waste Recycling Centres open every day of the year except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
Household Waste Recycling Centres take a wide range of materials including cardboard, garden waste, electrical items, batteries and textiles, as well as bulky items and hazardous waste.
