Taunton Recycling Centre

Cash-Free Trial – from 3 May 2016, Taunton Priorswood Recycling Centre will only accept card payments* (no cash or cheques).

This includes payment for disposal of hardcore, soil, tyres, gas bottles, vehicle parts, commercial waste and to purchase Revive compost.

*Cards accepted: Visa and MasterCard credit and debit; Visa Electron; Diners Club.

This trial excludes purchases made at the reuse shop.

Opening Hours: 8am – 4pm 7 days a week

Van, pick-up and trailer permit holders can use open sites on any weekday and 1pm-4pm Saturdays (not Sundays or 8am-1pm Saturdays). For more permit information or to apply, see van and trailer permits.

This centre is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

Charges apply to dispose of asbestos and plasterboard.

Charges apply to deposit hardcore, soil, tyres and gas bottles which are not classed as household waste, at all centres.
