UPDATE: Recycling sites take all usual materials. Safety restrictions remain. Staff can indicate a drop-off point for bulky items but cannot assist you in unloading or putting materials in skips; ensure you can manage all loads safely by yourself.

For advice on recycling rigid plastic food and other household pots, tubs, trays and plastic bottles at Somerset recycling sites, please see our Action on plastics page.

When visiting any Somerset recycling site with your household waste, your vehicle or trailer may need a permit. Both vehicle and trailer size are restricted. Permits are free, only available to Somerset residents, and must be displayed on all visits. Please apply for a permit before you bring your waste.
