From recruitment – check jobs here – to training drivers, and using non-LGV vehicles to collect bulky cardboard, we are doing all we can to restore services. Bear with us; crews are working very hard, as they have throughout the pandemic. UPDATE: Friday 24 September Today’s collections Crews are deployed on all rounds today. Returning today for a small number of recycling and garden waste collections missed yesterday (Thurs23Sept) in several rural locations. Garden waste collections: The first full cycle of resumed collections should be completed by the end of today. All subscribers have had their subscription extended by eight weeks and we thank you for your patience. Report any missed collections after 7pm on the due day via My Waste Services (tip: postcode with gap AB1 2CD). We expect to return for any reported missed collections within two working days. If your collection is delayed and you have waste that has got to go, options include: if time and transport or assistance, recycling can go to any recycle site.
