Service update: Friday 11 June Nick Cater June 11, 2021June 12, 2021 Latest News Friday 11 June – Crews have continued their progress in restoring collections following recent service disruptions but there have been some delayed pick-ups today. We have no reports of delayed collections from Mendip, but crews will be returning tomorrow for garden waste from a number of South Somerset villages, and recycling from some homes in and around Castle Cary, Henstridge and Milborne Port in South Somerset. In Somerset West and Taunton, some garden waste will be collected tomorrow from rounds that included Taunton, Corfe, Pitminster, Trull, West Buckland, and villages from Dunster to Porlock. In Sedgemoor, final reports are not yet – at 5.30pm – in but a limited number of rubbish collections will be completed tomorrow from Bridgwater, Durleigh and Enmore, and garden waste, while crews will be out on Saturday to collect the Sedgemoor recycling rescheduled from Tuesday in Burnham-on-Sea, Brean, Berrow, Over Stowey, Enmore, Edithmead, Spaxton, Broomfield, Burrowbridge, Cannington, Wembdon, Merridge, Aisholt, Lower Aisholt, Courtway, Highbridge and Fiddington. Across Somerset, catch-up collections will be underway from 7am in a range of locations in all four districts.
